Pricing & Payment FAQ

 

What if I only want a few rooms cleaned?

Our hourly rate of $45/hr (2 hour minimum) applies.

 

When do I pay for my cleaning?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, credit and debit cards (3% surcharge for credit/debit card payments). Most clients leave cash or check on the kitchen counter. If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, payment must be called in the morning of your cleaning.

What should I do to prepare for my cleaning?

Prior to your cleaning specialist arrival, please remove all items that may delay our cleaning. To ensure that we can clean all surfaces, please make sure that no area is more than 50% cluttered. If an area is more than 50% cluttered, we will not be able to clean that area. Desks counters. or tables that have a large amount of paperwork are unable to be cleaned. Please pick up clothes, toys, paperwork and other clutter before each cleaning. The cleaning will be more satisfactory if the cleaning teams do not have a great deal of clutter obstructing the cleanable areas. If you need help straightening or de-cluttering, call or email our office to add-on those services.

 

Do I have to be present during my cleaning?

No. We only need access to your home upon our arrival. One-time clients normally leave a key under a mat, leave a door unlocked, give us a garage door code, or let us in and leave. Most recurring clients give us a key or garage code to gain access. If we can not gain access, there is a $50.00 lock-out fee.

 

Who provides the cleaning supplies?

We provide all supplies except for a broom. Many customers prefer that we use their vacuum. We recommend Shark vacuums if you wish to supply your own, If your prefer your own cleaners, we are more than happy to use all-natural cleaners that you supply.

 

Do you send an individual or team of cleaners?

Depending on the home size and amount of work, we send 1-3 cleaners for standard cleans.

 

Will I get the same cleaning team each time?

Yes. At times a worker will call off due to illness or scheduled vacation time, but at least one worker will be experienced in your home.

 

What is your 100% service guarantee?

We will re-clean the missed area or areas that weren't cleaned to your satisfaction within 24 hours. We must be notified within 24 hours of your cleaning to honor this guarantee.

 

Do you offer environmentally-friendly products?

Yes. We are happy to announce that all of our cleaners are environmentally-friendly.

 

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my cleaning?

You may cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your cleaning by calling us at (248) 238-6217 or email info@kmhcleaning.com. If we aren't notified within 24 hours, there is a $50.00 fee.

 

What should I do with my pets?

We are pet friendly but appreciate your help in making sure pets are secured and safe on cleaning days. Our office should be made aware of any special requirements in safeguarding your pets.
